How We Get Rid Of Carpet Beetles
As with all our pest treatments we start with a thorough inspection to fully understand the nature of the problem. Finding all the locations where the carpet beetle larvae are eating is important to ensure we eliminate the problem.
Once we’ve found all the locations, we will vacuum the infested area and then apply a water-based insecticide which will kill any beetles, larvae and eggs present and provide long lasting protection.
As long as we can access all infested areas, the carpet beetle infestation will be eliminated in one treatment. If the infestation is also found in wardrobes or drawers, having the clothes removed, inspected and heat treated will be a necessary part of the treatment.
Carpet beetles can re-infest at any time, if they fly in from outside. However, our treatments provide several months protection before they start to wear off.
